Open Courses enable all interested individuals who have completed a four-year secondary education programme to attend classes offered within accredited study programmes as part of lifelong learning provision.
Participants attend classes alongside regular students, without acquiring student status or the associated student rights.
Upon completion of a course, participants receive a certificate of attendance. Participants who fulfil all prescribed course requirements and pass the examination are awarded the corresponding ECTS credits.
The list of Open Courses offered in the winter semester of the 2026/2027 academic year is available in the Open Courses Catalogue.
The fee for enrolment in and attendance of an individual course is EUR 200.
The following categories are entitled to a 50% reduction in tuition and enrolment fees, subject to the submission of valid supporting documentation:
- Croatian Homeland War veterans,
- retirees,
- persons officially recognised as persons with disabilities by a decision of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute.
Note: Participants may enrol in more than one Open Course, provided that the scheduled class times do not overlap.
