Graduate Study Enrolment – Applicants with Foreign Undergraduate Degrees

To apply, the Faculty of Croatian Studies usually requires the submission of the following documents (the procedure may be updated or changed):

  • Curriculum and study program of your completed degree

  • A link to the information package of your previous higher education institution

  • Transcript of records and diploma or certificate confirming completion of your previous studies

  • Proof of payment of the €30.00 fee for program comparison

  • Proof that you have submitted a request for recognition of your study period to the Office for Academic Recognition of Foreign Higher Education Qualifications at the University of Zagreb, or the official decision on the recognition of your foreign qualification issued by that office

These documents should generally be submitted to the Faculty of Croatian Studies by post or in person no later than September 1st. The departmental committees will compare programs and determine by mid-September whether your previous studies are equivalent, allowing you to compete on equal terms with other applicants.

Additionally, you must provide proof of knowledge of the Latin script and Croatian language at the B2 level.

Applications for the admission procedure for single-major and double-major university graduate programs are usually accepted starting in the second half of September.
