Associate Professor Lovorka Brajković, PhD, has been appointed Research Integrity Editor of the newly established international scientific journal Croatian Head and Neck Journal (CHNJ). This role is of key importance in ensuring the highest bioethical standards, transparency, and methodological integrity of all published articles, thereby establishing a strong foundation for the journal’s quality and credibility within the scientific community.

The Croatian Head and Neck Journal is a new multidisciplinary scientific journal that provides a comprehensive and contemporary approach to the diagnosis, treatment, and surgery of head and neck diseases, with particular emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration. The journal was established through the cooperation of leading professional and academic institutions: the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, the Croatian Medical Association, and the Croatian Society for Head and Neck Tumours.

The journal operates according to the Diamond Open Access model.

The first issue of CHNJ has also been officially published, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the development of this field in our region.
