At the 8th Scientific Conference of the European Handball Federation, held this year in Zagreb, Assoc. Prof. Zrinka Greblo Jurakić, Ph.D., delivered an invited lecture on 13 November entitled “Rethinking Excellence in Sport Through the Lens of Safeguarding.”

The conference showcased the latest scientific achievements in the fields of technological innovation and contemporary approaches to working with athletes. In addition, special attention was devoted to topics contributing to the development of a safe sporting environment, including the prevention of sports injuries, the mental well-being of coaches, and the protection of the psychosocial welfare of athletes across all age groups.
