The Department of Philosophy and Culturology at the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb, is pleased to invite you to the celebration of World Philosophy Day, which will take place on Thursday, 20 November, at 11:00 a.m. in the Zagreb Lecture Hall.
The programme will begin with a performance of the philosophical play without acts “Justified. True. Ignorance.”
Following the performance, a lecture will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Martin Kusch, Professor of Philosophy of Science and Epistemology at the University of Vienna, entitled “Wittgenstein and Naturalism.”
After the formal part of the programme, a gathering will be held in the Library of the Faculty of Croatian Studies, providing an opportunity for informal conversation and the exchange of impressions.
World Philosophy Day, observed on the third Thursday of November at the initiative of UNESCO, serves as a reminder of the importance of philosophical reflection, dialogue, and openness to new ideas.
We look forward to your participation!
