Erasmus and Bilateral Students
This page contains key information for Erasmus and bilateral exchange students regarding nomination, application procedure, required documents and language requirements.
Nomination Procedure
- Home universities nominate students via the Google form. Please do not send nominations by e-mail. Students are not allowed to nominate themselves.
- For specific questions not explained on the website regarding the nomination or application process, please contact incoming@unizg.hr.
- Partner universities are kindly requested to respect the nomination deadlines.
Application Procedure
- Nominated students must submit their application through the online application portal (MoveON).
- The link to the online application portal will be sent directly to the student by e-mail after the nomination has been confirmed by the UNIZG Central International Relations Office.
- The application portal is intended only for students applying for study mobility exchange. Traineeships are arranged directly with the faculty or academy.
- All applicants are kindly requested to respect the application deadlines.
Please note that the online application through the website is mandatory and that any nominee who does not apply online will automatically be rejected.
Required Documents
The following documents must be uploaded in the application form:
- CV (in Croatian or English)
- Learning Agreement (signed by the student and the home institution, preferably checked by the host faculty or academy). Before submitting, the student may enter only courses available at the receiving faculty or academy.
In the Online Learning Agreement (OLA), the receiving institution is always the faculty or academy to which you are applying, not the University of Zagreb. For UNIZG in OLA, the “Contact Person” at the Receiving Institution is the International Relations Office or the ECTS Coordinator, and the “Responsible Person at the Receiving Institution” is the ECTS Coordinator, i.e. the person responsible for signing the OLA. At the Faculty of Croatian Studies, the “Contact Person” is Josip Zekić, Head of the International Relations Office, and the “Responsible Person at the Receiving Institution” is Antonia Ordulj, Vice Dean for International Relations. - Transcript of Records (issued by the student’s home university)
- Certificate of Enrolment (issued by the student’s home university)
- Scan of the ID card (both sides) or passport (first page with photo and personal data)
- Proof of English proficiency if attending courses in English – minimum level B2
Information on courses in English for exchange students at the Faculty of Croatian Studies is available here. For additional questions, please contact Josip Zekić at jzekic@fhs.unizg.hr.
